STALKING DAVID SEDARIS
When a writer fantasizes, it sounds a bit like what happened to Tim Johnston. Writer and performer David Sedaris loved Tim's book Irish Girl and planned to promote it all over the country on his book tour. So Tim got in his Chevy truck and launched a "Shadow Tour," showing up in Sedaris’ wake, hoping to meet readers and sell some books. It was an amazing ego boost for the unknown author, but disastrous for his bank account.

Susan Arnout Smith is a writer who discovered the dark side of social media. One day, she stumbled onto an obscene Facebook profile with her name, pictures, even links to her legitimate work.
