According to a Pentagon study, nearly 180,000 children have a parent serving overseas. Josh talks to Dick about how hard it is not having his dad around.  They're joined later by Josh's mom, Cari, and one of his teachers, Maryann Williams.

Dick talks with Serena and her lawyer Sam Sheldon about the mandatory sentencing laws that put her in prison and the rare presidential order that got her out.

A little over two years ago, Brenda Muckelvene found a lump in her breast. Her experience with the treatment and recovery was frightening at times. One of the hardest parts was losing her hair -- Brenda had been a hair stylist. Since her experience, Brenda has become so dedicated to talking with women about cancer that it has become a kind of mission.

Ahmed Fadaam is Dick Gordon's former fixer and translator based in Baghdad. Ahmed was a sculptor. Then the war came, and he learned to make his living as a photographer and reporter. He came to the U.S. in May 2008. He is keeping an audio diary and does regular interviews for The Story.
