Scott and Tiffany Smiley

Dick Gordon spoke with Scott and Tiffany Smiley on August 29, 2007. Scott was named 2007 Soldier of the Year by the Army Times. In April 2005, Scott was wounded by a suicide bomb in Iraq. He later learned he was permanently blinded. Below is a photo of Scott and Tiffany now (Scott uses prosthetic eyes) and a photo of the couple at West Point in 2004, before Scott went to Iraq.
