Tomie DePaola
Tomie DePaola's books have won reams of awards, including both top literary nods for children: the Newbury Medal for outstanding writing and the Caldecott Medal for illustration.
Tomie's first book for adults is called Christmas Memories. The book includes holiday memories from his storied life - a suburban childhood, bohemian art school, and a cloistered monastery. Listen in as Dick and Tomie talk of Christmases past, and play holiday music from 1940's crooners to Gregorian chants.
