Curators at the National Museum of Iraq placed sandbags throughout teh Assyrian Hall to protect pieces if they were to fall during an aerial attack (top). Cori was present when pieces of the Treasures of Nimrud were taken from their vault (middle), including the Assyrian crown (bottom).
