A neighbor restrains a man at Al-Kindi hospital emergency ward after he lost two children and his wife when a missle hit their house in the eastern part of Baghdad. American bombardments were heavy throughout the day and Iraqi civilian casualties at hospitals in the capital were at their highest point according to the ICRC since the invasion as US forces slowly grasped control of the city.
