Michelle Bamberger, a veterinarian in Ithaca, N.Y., and Robert Oswald, a professor at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, have done a series of case studies of farm animals and water contaminated by fracking waste. They are seeing animal deaths and illnesses, and a paper they published in the journal New Solutions suggests more studies need to be done.
