Rachel Santer
Rachel Santer arrived at Central Michigan University in 2004 ready to explore all the college had to offer. Within days, she was swept up in the school's Greek scene and had pledged a sorority. By her sophomore year, she had become president. But sorority life began to take a toll on her finances, her academics and her well-being, and she decided to leave the Greek world behind. Rachel talks with Dick Gordon about what she learned those first two years of college, and how she used them to shape her last two.
A new life on the farm

Nancy Moser wore fake fingernails and perfect clothes when she worked as an event planner in Washington DC. The last place she ever thought she'd end up is working on a farm. But six years ago she met her future husband, and ten weeks later she found herself knee-deep in hay and milking cows at 4:30 each morning.
It's a life change Nancy says she has unexpectedly come to love. But as milk prices drop, it's harder and harder for Nancy and her husband to make ends meet. Nancy talks with Dick about the sacrifices she's made to be a farmer's wife.
