Cantors Leopold Szneer & Debbie Katchko
Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. Though he's retired as a cantor, Leopold Szneer always sings on this day in memory of those who died.
Leopold himself is a Holocaust survivor. He always thought he was the only one left in his family - until one day, four years back, when he was listening to a CD of cantorial singers. Leopold noticed a name on the back of the CD he knew well—Katchko. That led him to cantor Debbie Katchko, the granddaughter of his father's cousin.
Leopold and Debbie talk with Dick Gordon about what it means to have found family they thought was lost, and to share their love through singing.

Julio and Pat Halty
Pat and Julio Halty have been married 22 years - but they almost lost one another.
They first met when Pat was vacationing on the island of Mallorca where Julio was working as a waiter. The two began a romance, but Pat ended up leaving to continue her travels. Both wondered if they'd ever meet again.
