RESTORING HONOR
James Bowman protested the Vietnam War. As it turns out, he didn't pass his medical exam, so dodging the draft never became an option. Looking back on his protesting days, he's filled with regret. He believes he didn't act honorably. That honor as a concept may be tarnished, and thought to be outmoded - but that it's also crucial in restoring codes that give meaning and integrity to our actions, both individual and collective. Dick talks to James Bowman today about his book, "Honor: A History". Add to story
