Cooking underwater
Alice Evans
Clean up efforts are well underway in Iowa, but life is not back to normal for many of the flood victims.
Chef Alice Evans says she's hopeful her downtown catering business will flourish again. She was just days away from opening a new cafe when her kitchen was destroyed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As the floodwaters crept down her block, Alice and her business partner had to rush to a catering job. On the drive home, they saw water circling roof tops. Alice tells Dick Gordon why the flood has only strengthened her resolve to make her business a success.
