PRAYERS OF A BULLIED BOY
Terrance
The prevalence of bullying is staggering. In one study, 75% of school children reported being bullied at least once during the academic year.
Terrance is a 12-year-old boy. He's smart, and he's also short for his age. The combination of both makes him a daily target for teasing. Terrance opens up to Dick about what really happens to him at school and the things he'd like the bullies to know.

Bullying not only affects the child - it can have consequences for the whole family. Terrance's mother, Veronica, joins Terrance and Dick to talk about her sleepless nights at home.

Your Story - Pixie Martin
Your Story is about a moment that has never left you, a moment that made you look at your life in a new light.

Pixie
Martin wrote to us to say that in 1971 she was a Peace Corps volunteer,
teaching in Mukah, a coastal town in Malaysia. The thing is this: Pixie
came from a long line of teachers and she never wanted to be a one. She
never even wanted to go to Asia.
Then one after one month of teaching, she writes, "I rode my Chinese blue bike to the town to see the nightly showing of a Chinese sword flick."
What she saw on that bike ride changed her life.Add to story
