LIVING WITH THE SCARS OF WAR
Part of the information released through Wikileaks included stories of Iraqi civilians killed and wounded as part of the US engagement in Iraq. Today, Dick Gordon talks with an Iraqi woman who says she was shot in the face by US forces. Three years ago, Fatima Abdul Razaq and her husband were on their way to a family event when they stopped near the convoy. As far as she knows, it was a soldier in the turret of a humvee who aimed his rifle at her and shot her in the face.
