A Tale of Two Hearts
Nikki Luederitz had a failing heart and the doctors opened her up to transplant a new one....and for months, two hearts beat within her. Ultimately she had to have another heart transplant and the doctor that guided her, cardiologist Bill Cabeen talked with her every step of the way. She was inspired by his view of the world and chose to study nursing. Today, guest host Alex Chadwick talks with Nikki about living with two hearts and learning to give hers to others.
