Reddy Annappareddy was working as an overnight pharmacist when he came up with a way to serve his customers better. Corporate officials at Rite Aid dismissed his ideas so he quit and started his own business with free home delivery. Now it's making money.
Let America be America - Community in a Cafe
Andy Shallal has big ideas for a group of cozy cafes in the Washington D.C. region. He purposely set out to bring different groups together by offering a space for political discourse, as well as a bookstore and a great room in which poets are welcome to perform. His project is called Busboys & Poets.
