Latest News: It is an amazing world out there. Through this profile I have met one con man, one angel, one pervert, one illegal alien and a couple of others somewhere in-between. I have learned that being 54 is no protection against heartache hit and run. I have learned that in many ways I am just as vulnerable at 54 as I was at 16. I have learned that it's great to be out there and meet people I otherwise would never have met. Don't let my age put you off--age only matters if you are wine or cheese. I like complexity, mystery, intrigue, caves, buildings, water, little furry creatures, rain, fog, snow, flowers, fabric, forests, art, engineers, students, scientists, cooks, carpenters and basically anyone who isn't hung up on clothing labels. Or automobiles. If you can spin a pun that's all to the good. What I want out of life: tranquility, a chance to create art, a warm place to sleep, someone to talk to. I'm an aging hippie who would have been a beatnik (actually I'm more inclined that way, just too young). I've read Beowulf and On the Road, Harry Potter and Shakespeare, Wilkie Collins Sheridan La Fanu, Charles Dickens and Ayn Rand. And others. I like to read in bed. I like to figure things out. I like to swear. Religion is not important to me, spirituality is. I am not a Republican and not much of a Democrat either. I can't carry a tune in a bucket but I can write a poem. Come.
