OUTSOURCING HEALTH CARE
A little more than a year ago, Tom Hiland found himself without health insurance, and in need of major heart surgery. Like a growing number of Americans, he did his research and wound up on a plane bound for New Delhi. Dick talks with Tom about his heart surgery in India. Dick also talks with Bonnie Blackley, Benefits Director at North Carolina's Blue Ridge Paper Products about her company's decision to make international health care available to their employees. Blackley believes that international coverage would save the company money, and employees may benefit from better care.
